VIVUS Magazine

Designing a modern fitness magazine required a publication that felt as disciplined and driven as its audience. A bold red accent palette, black and white photography, and strong typography were combined to capture the raw energy of gym culture while keeping layouts structured and readable. The result is a visually striking editorial piece that feels intense and intentional, speaking directly to a fitness-focused reader.

FEATURE SPREADS

Designing the feature spreads for VIVUS required layouts that visually communicated growth and progression in a way that felt connected to the content itself. A timeline-based layout guided readers through one feature in a structured sequence, while the second used type as visual building blocks to reflect how progress is built through consistency and repetition. Bold typography, dynamic composition, and layered hierarchy bring both spreads together as conceptual and editorial design that feels intentional cover to cover.

DEPARTMENTS

Designing the department spreads for VIVUS required each section to feel distinct while staying true to the magazine’s overall identity. Clean, organized layouts were used for informational content while more dynamic compositions brought energy to interview and travel sections, all tied together through consistent typography, strong hierarchy, and curated black and white imagery. The result is a set of spreads that keeps the fitness-centered message consistent while giving readers a varied and visually engaging experience throughout.
